A little Mexican diner that’s been a Marin staple for many years. At certain meal times you can get stuck waiting, but the counter usually has a seat open. With an extensive menu, some items are better than others.
RECS: The fish tacos are some of the best in the country, with fresh snapper, cabbage slaw and a tangy chipotle mayo. The fresh crab tostadas are good if you like that sort of thing, as is the corn-on-the-cob. Save room for the sorbets—coconut, chocolate, pumpkin—if they haven’t run out.
